Owned and operated by Susan Halme and Melissa Halme Redell for almost three decades, The Solvang Bakery originally became famous for its Almond Butterrings, Cinnamon Crispies and Danish Butter Cookies. Baking and Pastry Artist, Susan Halme, Custom Wedding Cakes and Commissioned Cakes have a following throughout the state. Custom Gingerbread Houses and Gingerbread Designs came next and are shipped as gifts nationwide. Kelly Ripa said our custom Gingerbread Houses are "simply the best!"
